THE DEVILS BLESSING Do not listen to Hezekiah. This is what the king of Assyria says: Make peace with me and come out to me. Then every one of you will eat from his own vine and fig tree and drink water from his own cistern, - Isaiah 36:16. Everything under the sun has a fake, even spiritual things. The devil once offered to give Jesus all the kingdoms of the world if Jesus worshipped him, meaning he can also bless. That same offer is still available today. In times when youre in great trouble and distress, the devil will say to you, Make peace with me and come to me, then youll have your health back, own your car, house, business, have your job, wife/husband, visa, fame etc. He will say to you, use what you have, its your own body, adjust the facts, everybody is doing it, why not work on Sundays, accepting that man or womans help will hurt no one and so on. However, you and I both know the devils blessings are never free. Theyre temporary and always come at the expense of your soul. Know that the devil will surely come to you with solutions as you go through difficult moments but dont settle for them; wait on the Lord because He will surely come through for you!
