THIS QURBANI, FEED THE FORGOTTEN CHILDREN Tonight I am launching the ChildrenPlus Qurbani campaign for 2014. Our aim is to provide Qurbani meat for the Rohingya and the street children of Bangladesh. We know the need is great in so many parts of the world as highlighted by recent events in Palestine, or by the on going troubles in Syria, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Afghanistan, CAR etc. Floods have also affected regions of Pakistan and Kashmir. Many charities are providing help in these affected areas and may Allah grant them all success in their endeavours to provide meat to as many people in need as possible. We at ChildrenPlus however have decided this year to provide Qurbani to those that the UN describes as the most persecuted people on earth. Also referred to as the forgotten people, we ask you this Qurbani, to Remember the Rohingya and also the street children of Bangladesh. Last year you helped us provide over 100 cows and meat to over 10,000 families. Lets see if we can top that this year. To provide a whole cow for the Rohingya people will cost £350. Thats just £50 per share. For each share you will be able to say in whose name you would like the Qurbani to be provided. A whole cow provides 7 Qurbanis. To provide a cow for street children in Bangladesh will cost just £315. Thats just £45 per share.
