TIBCS Membership Info 2012. By Bob Gilbert in The International Bengal Cat Society (TIBCS) (Files). TIBCS Membership PURPOSE Develop and promote high breeding standards. Distribute and share information on the Bengal Cat. Serve as a forum for the Bengal cat owners and encourage cooperation and communication within TIBCS Promote cooperation with other clubs and associations, and Insure the future of the Bengal Cat. MEMBERSHIPS There are four types of memberships for the Bengal Cat enthusiast. Click on JOIN TIBCS for the membership application. ELECTRONIC GENERAL MEMBERSHIP: Annual fee = $30 Electronic General membership privileges include: 1. Have online access to membership booklet.2. Vote on issues concerning the Bengal Cat and its future.3. Access to an electronic copy of the TIBCS newsletter per publication online only. 4. May contribute material for publication in the general interest sections of The Bengal Bulletin. GENERAL MEMBERSHIP: Annual fee = $40 General membership privileges include: 1. Have online access to membership booklet.2. Vote on issues concerning the Bengal Cat and its future.3. Receive one copy of the TIBCS newsletter per publication. 4. May contribute material for publication in the general interest sections of The Bengal Bulletin. ELECTRONIC BREEDER MEMBERSHIP: Annual fee = $45 (Must sign and adhere to the TIBCS Code of Ethics to be an Electronic Breeder Member.) E-Breeder Members accrue benefits of Electronic General Members in addition to: 5. Establishing a presence online with a free listing in the TIBCS Breeder Directory on the TIBCS website. BREEDER MEMBERSHIP: Annual fee = $50 (Must sign and adhere to the TIBCS Code of Ethics to be a Breeder Member.) Breeder Members accrue benefits of General Members in addition to: 5. Establishing a presence online with a free listing in the TIBCS Breeder Directory on the TIBCS website. Family Membership : Annual fee = $60 (Must sign and adhere to the TIBCS Code of Ethics to be a voting Member.) Open to all persons who uphold the purposes of TIBCS and who reside within the same household. Family members shall be allowed to hold any office or Executive Board position. Family memberships shall be entitled to two votes. A family membership may include a breeder member and is subject to the same breeder membership advertising benefits. The household receives one copy of the TIBCS newsletter per publication. Junior Membership: Annual fee = $30 Open to all persons less than eighteen years of age who otherwise meet the requirements for general membership. Junior members shall pay dues but shall not vote or hold office. Junior members receive one copy of the TIBCS newsletter per publication. PLEASE NOTE: Membership is on an annual basis and renewed quarterly (Jan, Apr, Jul, Oct). Renewal dates are listed in the TIBCS Breeder Directory and on the mailing labels of The Bengal Bulletin. Back issues of The Bengal Bulletin may be purchased for $15-25 each while supplies last. Lapsed memberships will be pulled the following quarter after membership expires.
