TO ALL BANK OF AMERICA BRANCHES....... OMG...you guys suck!!!! Youve been sitting on my inheritance for over a month and have done nothing to resolve the issue. NOTHING!!!! My mother, an account holder with your bank for years, passed away June 9th. I received a letter from you dated June 20th, stating you required certain paperwork to resolve the estate. My attorney created all the paperwork you asked for, and it was faxed to you on July 31st. Not from my house, but one of your branches. They verified on the spot that all the paperwork was received. Two weeks later, after not hearing a word from anyone, I went back to one of your branches, to inquire the status of the accounts. I was told your legal department was finishing up the case, AND that I could have access to the safety deposit box. Since I dont have a key, the personal banker said he would contact the locksmith, and let me know when the locksmith could open the box. THAT WAS TWO WEEKS AGO. Now youve had the paperwork over a month. Since I havent heard anything about the account or the deposit box, I called the Enterprise Estate Unit again today, and spoke with a VERY NICE female, who actually had the decency to tell me the truth, that you guys dropped the ball and havent done a thing with the case. She gave me the information I needed so that I returned BACK to one of your branch offices, so that you could perform an Expedited Funds Release. I tried to get that done today, but by the time I got to the branch, and they fiddled around, it was after 6pm PST. THEN to really show me what BofA is all about, I asked the personal banker why its taking so long to get a locksmith. She said it normally takes a day or two. I told her the guy that sits next to her, who was already gone, hadnt contacted me in two weeks. She looked at the records and said nothing had been written in the report regarding contacting a locksmith. Are you friggin kidding me!!! Not only do you not care about getting a person their inheritance by doing nothing, you cant even follow thru with contacting a locksmith so that I can get into my mothers security box. I can promise you that once this is resolved, I will NEVER darken your doors again, and I will make sure to let as many people as possible know as well.
