TODAYS DAILY POWER MORNING DEVOTION. (QUIET TIME) Date. Tue. Jan. 20. 2015. Text. Acts. 4:1-12 Topic. THE WONDERFUL NAME OF JESUS. Yesterdays we read and discuss about the miracle at the beautiful gate which God uses His servant to perform, but do you know that--that same miracle of turning the world upside down caused or brought a serious reaction in the house of God. In our todays text you will see clear in vs 1 and 2 that there are a some people mentioned here who later called a meeting of which they forced peter and John men to be present for they are the subject of the day. Somebody may ask; why is peter and John invited in todays meeting. Do you know y? The Sadducees and even the their high priest did not believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the people how possible could it be for peter and John to perform miracle in the name of JESUS which they them selves crucified so they held peter and John to question them. Child of God, what is that challenges on your way, who are they that has questioned your success in business and said you do this and that and thats why you are making it. Hahahahahahhahah, SATAN is in trouble ooooo. Because HE who has called us is ever faithful and it is His will to give us the kingdom, it is His wish that we should prosper, His word said He will never live nor forsake us. The sadducees were not happy in this matter: brethren may outside there and beside you are not happy that you a child of God, they are angry that you have giving your life to Christ uses you to preach to other to be save like you, they are not happy that God uses you for signs and wonders. Many has castigated some men and women of God simply because God uses these men of God, just like what is happening in our world today, Nig fro an example, let God use you mightily that is when you began to hear all kinds of rumors that your a ritualist, that you slept with mad women to gain power, that you use to sleep with the young ladies of your church and uses them to change their destiny to bad luck etc. The collapse of T.B Joshuas building is a perfect example of what am saying here; even His fellow brethren and men, women and people of God were the first set of people to judge the case saying that the man of God has used those ones for ritual, oh oh oh oh oh! Will God still find the faithful ones when He comes again? Child of God never you open your mouth to say evil of men of God, one thing I will never do is to speak evil of anyone, is this the first time a house to colapes in Nigeria? Or is it because this man has been good to people and He even does what the people in the government has never done when it comes to charity work, done think am his brother or otherwise, no am not but am only but a preacher of the true gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ for this is what am born for, this is what am sent for and this is what i will die for. They questioned peter and John: my dear that temptation will come but I said unto you that the type that will come is the UNSUCCESSFUL TEMPTATION I know by now you might have flashed back on that fateful day your name was used as the subject matter in you place of work, in your place of business etc that you did this and that of which you are innocent of, hahahaha the lord Jesus is a vindicater of His people. Your a minister of the gospel but your ministry has been down due to those SADDUCEES you called fellow brethren but not knowing they are wolves in sheep clothing including the high priest? Hmmmmm, God forbid, the high priest you said hmmm-so those that you are hoping to guild yon, those you took as spiritual father and fathers in the Lord are not excluded as the representatives of the gossips hmm mm FATHER IN YOU MERCY Dear the name of JESUS is so wonderful as our topic today says, it is this same wonderful name of CHRIST that will save us from the hands of these criminals of soul call brethren and Sadducees, the bible say Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be save acts 4:12. I dont know if your the type of the Sadducess who are wondering how possible for peter and John to perform miracle in the name of the dead man Christ, that is unbelieve, if you didnt believe in Him may I announce to you that he is real, believe Him today. Believing in Him is giving you life totally to Him. Repent and you shall be save. THE STONE that the was rejected in your life will surely become not only the corner stone but the chief CORNER STONE, am talking to you, therefore submit to HIS LORDSHIP and you will be sure of eternity with Him in glory.
