TODAYS THOUGHT: Birthing A Baby Is Not Without Considerable Pain! ----------------------------- Regrettably, I must immediately deploy a constructive hiatus for myself, with regards to the time each day I spend on FaceBook raising almighty hell with every social-injustice that plagues my mind; my individual sense of what constitutes fair-play in this life; a life resolutely unfair, of course, a hard-fact all who know me might reasonably expect that I should have already long-since discerned. Instead, I have remained relentless in my defense of social-justice; (hopefully, without too much over-moralizing). However, there comes a time when the agony of self-discipline must kick in for the common good, (if sanity is to prevail). And heres why: For many years now I have been writing a novel, (a book, a screen-play adaption of a concept that has become...as much as anything else...my lifes work, my personal mission before I die; my own perception of a personal legacy). Therefore, (and as my beautiful young wife is more than willing to remind me), I can ill-afford to spend two to three hours a day...(more, if I choose to be honest with myself; but alas, such constitutes the fertile-fodder of yet another discussion in which I simply do not have the time to engage at the moment, as rationalized herein above...next year, perhaps!). Plus, my sweet bride insists she does not want her next husband to have to work!!! While goodbye here appears to be a mite heavy-handed, Ill go ahead and substitute see-you-in-a-bit! Lets say 90 to 120 days hence, O.K. Ive been told, time & again, (by so many strong women in my life), that giving birth is, indeed, painful, (if only to a challenging creative concept). And those that REALLY love always follow with: Hey, thats why theyve always called it LABOR, cowboy!!! The push, push, push, has begun.
