TRACK INFO: The meet is this Saturday May 3rd. We are going to meet at 7 a.m. on the West side of Ratliff stadium by the ticket office. I will hand the kids their numbers and wrist bands then. The opening ceremonies are at 7:45. Our first race: 1500 meters is at 7:50. Those are the only times I know. We are hoping that the events will be over by 7 that evening and we will have the awards ceremony at the end of the evening. Everyone needs to be in attendance for the awards. We will be taking team pictures then. The kids will not be allowed to leave the meet until ALL of their events are over. You can bring the kids lunch but they will not be allowed to leave unless all of their events are over. Please bring a case of water with you for your child. The concession stands will also be opened at the stadium. Dont forget Sunscreen If you guys want shade you can partner up with another parent to put canopies together for the kids. Please have at least one parent available at all times to watch the your kids. Kids will not be allowed to just run around unattended in the stands. Volunteers are needed: We need 3-4 parents to watch the ramps that the kids are not supposed to go down. We need 4-5 parents to escort the boys and girls to the bathroom before their races. They will not be allowed to use the restroom once they are on the field so this is really important to get done before hand. We need all parents to watch their kids in the stands. We need 2 parents to escort kids to the field events area. Please let me know if you can help with any of these jobs. Thank you, Coach Drennan
