TRUST ME in the midst of a messy day. Your inner calm-your peace in My Presence-need not be shaken by what is going on around you. Though you live in this temporal world, your innermost being is rooted and grounded in eternity. When you start to feel stressed, detach yourself from the disturbances around you. Instead of desperately striving to maintain order and control in your little world, relax and remember that circumstances cannot touch My Peace. Seek My Face, and I will share My mind with you, opening your eyes to see things from My perspective. Do not let your heart be troubled, and don not be afraid. I know I am but as you learn to let go and let God you become more relaxed and people start wanting to be around you more. You will enjoy life more because you will be able to take the time to appreciate the blessings that God has given you instead of running around trying to put out all the little fires that have disturbed your perfectly planned day. Learning how to go with the flow is something my hubby is great at and I am so jealous!!! So scary as it sounds~ I have asked God to help me be more like my hubby in this way. It keeps my expectations at a realistic level and I am not near as demanding as I usually am~ it has also freed my time up to read more scripture and hang with God. The more you seek God the more peaceful you will be. Will things in your life be perfect? Of course not! LOL! We live in a fallen world and we ourselves are fallen people~ so life will happen good and bad~ BUT~ with God we have the strength to live through it all~ and just think one day we will be home with Him and those loved ones who have gone home before us. I know my Grandpa Bailey is saving a dance for me in heaven and Sean and I will get to meet our Daylen when the day comes that we are called home. So enjoy the time you have with your family and friends, reach out and help a stranger that you dont know. Smile and say Hi to someone you pass by~ let Gods love shine through you onto others. Cut yourself some slack~ we are not perfect therefore our worlds can not be perfect~so what if its a little messy~ choose to live freely in Gods world and not ours. Love, Niese
