Talked to an old friend today. She tried bringing me down because I didnt go off to school & I didnt enjoy life after high school. And I supposedly settled down to fast. Without arguing her, i just smiled and said thats what you think. She and many other classmates may like to party constantly and not care because their still young. But in my life, I chose to settle down and move in with the love of my life. I chose spending every waking minute with him, watching movies while my friends were out drinking. I chose work, bills, and actually being happy with myself and the man I am with. Therefore, she was wrong. Because I wouldnt want my life any other way. I maybe 20 and act like Im 30.. But Im happier right now than Ive ever been. I chose this path, and I chose growing up faster than some other people. But I will not be brought down because of it. I would take spending money on a car payment over spending my money on drinks anyway. This is the life I chose, nobody else. And I am more content with my life than Ive ever been. ☺️
