Teaching is hard work! I would even say that the work is harder than the work I did serving our nation as a counterintelligence agent, but being a teacher is a million times more rewarding, and thats why we do the work. Today when I came home a letter was waiting for me in my mailbox from a former student. The letter was well-written and easy to read. All of last years writing lessons were present and correct and her voice was loud and clear, . . . Did you know that you are the best teacher so far? I really enjoyed being in your class. I will always remember you. You always said to never give up! You made a difference in my life. You are the best teacher! To make a difference in someone elses life is one of the most compassionate things we can do for another human being. I am so grateful for these opportunities!!! Thanks for mailing this letter to me Shelly Keefer. I will stop by your classroom soon to personally hug GM! You made me night!
