Tech News: Glitch On iOS 7.1 Allows You To Remove All The Stock Apps On Your iOS Device That You Dont Use. What’s the most annoying thing when you boot up your brand new iPhone or iPad for the first time? Seeing a list of pre-loaded apps that you will never use, ever, knowing that you will never be able to delete them, so all you can do is hide them into a folder and put them at the furthest page, hoping you’ll never see them again. Thanks to a glitch found on iOS 7.1, all iPhone and iPad users who are running on the latest iOS version will be able to remove these annoying apps from your screen, no jailbreak required. It’s pretty simple, all you need to do is put all the unwanted stock apps like Weather, Stocks, Passbook and such into a folder and make sure your dock and that particular home screen page is all filled up with apps. Drag one app into another to create a new folder, and quickly pull along the folder of unwanted apps into that folder so you have a nested folder. Pull those two apps out of that folder so it appears as empty (the nested folder of unwanted apps are still inside). Open the first folder, drag out your folder of unwanted apps into the dock area, release, and viola! The folder containing all the useless apps is gone…until your next reboot that is. Unfortunately, all you’ve done is hidden these apps from view, once you reboot your device, they’ll pop back out, but hey, at least if you don’t restart your device, you will no longer see these annoying apps, right?
