Thank You for Calm. Today, I once again have 8 hours of chemotherapy. Different “cruise fellows” are present today, and it is a quieter atmosphere. I did not sleep a wink for some reason last week, so I fall into a deep sleep. I find I had gained 8.2 pounds over night from a fluid overload with the chemotherapy. That probably had effected my sleep. It is freezing here today and we all talk about the weather when we are awake. The cold, only 8-10 degrees difference than White Plains NY, has us all even more tired. There are quiet days like this. And they, too, serve great purpose in the ongoing journey of recovery. I am grateful for a quiet day of peaceful sleep and calm. Thank You for Calm. God bless this day and all who walk into it.
