Thank You, my loves, for all of the prayers, kind words and outpouring of love. I am overwhelmed by your care and concern. Update on my Mom---I am positive prayers work and I am positive my Mom is the strongest person I know. When my Dad and I left the hospital in the early morning hours on Sunday, we were told that survival was doubtful. Upon returning Sunday afternoon, my Mom was stable, responding to all of us and the Doctors. She is no where near out of the woods but, she has been moved from the ICU to the Neurology floor. She has had a feeding tube inserted and, she was having an MRI as we were leaving tonight. She looked at all of us (only if we stood on her right side..........it affected her left side) and she talked (whispered......not clearly) and she smiled at each of us. Like I said, she is not out of the woods by a long shot. Doctor said it will take at least one week to determine the extent of the damage being that this was classified as a massive stroke. The road ahead, should she pull through will be long and arduous. We are ready to handle anything we have to for the most precious part of our family. I am so glad I am still in Pittsburgh. I dont know what I would have done had I gone back to Florida. Again, THANK YOU ALL. I will keep you updated and if you can, keep my Mom in your prayers. I love you all
