Thank you for your interest on the repeal of the open carry ban ordinance. Our referendum petition has been approved by the Town Clerk and is ready to be circulated to registered voters and signed. We have about 3 weeks to achieve our goal of at least 2500 signatures. Please let me know, a) if you are a registered voter in Castle Rock and when we can meet to have you sign, b) if you would be interested in having me or another circulator meet with you, walk your neighborhood, introduce me to your friends and neighbors who would like to sign, etc. I am open to however you feel comfortable doing this. c) if you would like to be a circulator, or you know someone that would like to be a circulator. I want to put you in contact with our point person for circulators. It isnt hard but there is some important information you should know. Our goal is to have at least 25 circulators. Again thanks for supporting this concerned citizen based referendum. I feel strongly that by spreading the word and getting other residents involved we will be successful.
