Thank you to everyone who went out of their way to attend my Mothers Prayer Service, or Funeral, or both. Your presence and support meant alot during a very difficult time. It is very hard to watch a parent pass away and then have to instantly go into do mode to pack up their personal belongings and start making funeral arrangements, etc. Emotions run high! A special Thank you to Cousin Robert for flying out from Winnipeg and giving the Eulogy. Thank you Auntie Martha for doing the Church readings. And to all of the Pallbearers: Robert, Ronnie, Raymond, Chris, Henry, Kenny, Bradly, Ricky and Mohammed for so willingly carrying my Mom to her final resting place. Thank you for all of the phone calls, text and Facebook messages, lovely cards, flowers, charitable donations, sharing special pictures and memories of my Mom with me, music videos, gifts of money, etc. Thank you Auntie Rose and Edgar Ladouceur for singing at the Bold Center as a tribute to my Mom after the DVD presentation and lunch. Thank you to all of the ladies involved in shopping for and putting together an amazing lunch after the prayer service and funeral. Those who even baked to honour some of my Moms favorite recipes. All of the helpers at the Bold Centre. Those who helped wipe down tables and package up/distribute left over food afterwards. And the rest I will just have to thank in some other form, as Im sure that they will be not be paying much attention to my Facebook Acct. Like Father Trini Pinca, Deacon Pat Murphy, the Church staff, or volunteers, the Church choir, all of the staff at Mission View Funeral Chapel, Joe Cardinal who dug my Moms Grave, Evergreen Memorial and Graham & Lane Florists in Edmonton, The Edmonton Journal and Lac La Biche Post and you know me... Regardless of how I try, I just never seem to get it quite right... so Im sure Ive missed someone. My sincere apologizes. But most importantly, Thank you to all members of my immediate family for showing that out of respect for our Mother/in-law/Grandmother, we really can shelf our stuff, pull together and give my Mom what she deserved. A nice tribute and send off. And to my Husband Matt, whose unconditional love and support has brought me through more crazy and difficult times than I care to remember. XOXO
