Thanks for the add!! I grew up in my dads customized, shag carpeted, cragar mag spinnin, 1976 E-150 (i-6/300 ci, automatic) that he purchased new off the lot and finished himself with my uncle. And owned for over 20 years. So when I was able to purchase my 87 (same color in and out as my dads was) i jumped at the chance. This is Izak (aka, Ooga Booga) sitting in my 1987 E-250 351 HO, that I purchased less than a year ago from an older guy that had purchased it brand spankin new with 21 miles on it. Had 128k when I got it. Now has 143k. I live in it when I am busy w/ work. It is the cleanest 87 i have seen since 87. Both in and under with a few little minor blemishes from the NY winters on the wheel wells and other normal spots. So i am awaiting the call from my parts guy to inform me that everything is in. I am about to drop the I-beam in front to do all the bushings, inner and outer ties with a new sleeve on driver side (already did drag link). Also I am doing all 4 shocks, universals, trans tail seal, oil pan seal, welding up an exhaust leak (driver side at the spacer between manifold and y pipe where that stupid vacuum thingy attaches). I plan to get it alk donenin a few days in my driveway with a creeper and a bottle O advils! I am hopin that if I run across any kind of a disaster aside from her fallin down on my fat ass in the drive way, it is going to be a god send to have access to the vast knowledge that all you kind fellas possess. Thanks again for the add! Hope u all enjoy your vans and appreciate being a van owner as much as I do. I am real glad such a group exists and i look forward to learning plenty from it.
