As Linda pointed out so beautifully recently when she posted Mother Teresas Anyway prayer, we can simply replace the word God with whatever represents for us the Divine within us - the I AM, the soul, spirit - and then even prayers and texts in old energy lingo can shine in all their beauty and wisdom again. - and can even turn into a beautiful Ahmyo song - full of trust and love - and grace: The Lord ( =the I AM) is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters ( =the stillness within when we spent time by ourselves) He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness ( =the path of my true identity) for his names sake ( =for my name is I AM THAT I AM - I AM the soul) Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
