The Allman Brothers played their final show at the Beacon Theater in N.Y.C. last night. I had the great opportunity to see them many times over the years. Starting in the early 70s in West Palm Beach, Fla with Berry Oakley just two months before he died in a tragic motorcycle accident and almost a year to the date that Duane passed in the same way. In my opinion they are one of the Greatest American Blues/Rock Bands too Play and Walk on the planet. Thanks for all the past and present members of ABB and for the music that moved a generation that will never die because, The Road Goes on Forever !
