The Australian government is once again attempting to interfere in the application of Islam and dictate which Islam is acceptable and which should be banned. The ban the government wishes to impose against Hizb ut-Tahrir is not about the group per se, but rather a desire to silence any dissenting voice that exposes the reality of the Western narrative against Islam. Hizb ut-Tahrir is among the few organisations that refuse to deviate in their defence of Muslims irrespective of any ideological differences those different groups may possess. Unless leaders and organisations roll over and accept the government narrative against Islam, they will be subjected to the same scrutiny currently experienced by Hizb ut-Tahrir. Ultimately as Muslims our objective is to attain the pleasure of Allah even if that causes the displeasure of the creation. May Allah SWT keep us all firm and make us among those who stand for the truth in the face of falsehood, ameen.
