The Chiefs continue their undefeated season by beating bad teams. They enter their bye week 9-0, having beat no major opponents. After their bye however, they will find themselves in Denver, facing the division rival Broncos. The Broncos had their bye on week nine. This week, they face the Chargers, who have been using a similar offense. It should be a high-scoring game. History was made by Nick Foles, who threw for seven touchdowns. The Eagles cruised through that game, beating Oakland 49-20. Nick Foles has been good while starting for Philadelphia, definitely better than Michael Vick. Coach Chip Kelly has not named a long time starter, but their best bet against the reeling Packers is Foles. Green Bay is in a tough situation as Aaron Rodgers suffered a shoulder injury in the Monday night game. The Packers are still waiting for the diagnosis. The near future will decide Green Bays fate, but they cannot win games with Seneca Wallace at QB. Eddie Lacy cannot run the team himself. There are very few running backs who can run their team to victory. Adrian Peterson led his Vikings to the playoffs last year, but they are not winning often this year. They came close to victory against the Cowboys, but they were doomed by a late touchdown. Adrian Peterson has shown some vulnerability this season, and he hopes to get back to last years form this week as Minnesota hosts Washington on Thursday. Last Thursday was also a game of redemption, but for Miami. Having slipped majorly after starting 3-0, they got a much-needed overtime win against Cincinnati. The game ended on a safety as Andy Dalton was sacked in his endzone. Cincinnati, now 6-3, looks to win their division. They face the Ravens in Baltimore, where a win would push them up further in the division as they try to become uncatchable. In the midst of the NFL weeks without sixteen games, usually teams have shown where they are in the rankings. Except Kansas City. Good thing no one has to predict how they will do this week! Without further ado, here are my picks for week ten: Thursday: WSH 24, MIN 13: Washingtons defense displayed the ability to come through when it was important last week against San Diego. Minnesota did the opposite, losing by a late touchdown by Dallas. Things arent looking up for the Vikings. Sunday: BUF 20, PIT 33: Pittsburgh got stomped on by New England, but they still put 31 points on the board. Buffalo is struggling without EJ Manuel, and they dont have the ability to make big plays. CIN 36, BAL 29: Cincinnati is finally experiencing the playoff worthy Andy Dalton theyve been waiting for. Baltimore is struggling to make something out of very few good players. DET 31, CHI 17: The Lions are coming off a bye week. The Bears are coming off a narrow victory against a Rogers-less Packers team. The Bears wont be able to stop Matt Stafford from executing a winning offense. PHI 27, GB 14: Philadelphia scored 49 points last week, but this is a season outlier for them. They cant get complacent because of last weeks win. They shouldnt have a problem against Green Bays depleted offense. STL 10, IND 35: Indianapolis found a way to win, thanks to Randy Bullocks missed field goals. St. Louis wont be as much of a threat, as long as the Colts can contain Zac Stacy. JAC 6, TEN 23: Jacksonville appears completely lost, when their only bright spots of the season are injured or suspended. Tennessee has Jake Locker back, and Chris Johnson is doing well. OAK 17, NYG 28: The Giants are revitalized after two straight wins, and the Raiders have been playing poorly recently. The momentum rules in this game. SEA 28, ATL 10: Seattle avoided an embarrassing loss against Tampa Bay last week. Atlanta has been playing terribly compared to their potential. Percy Harvin might play. CAR 28, SF 38: San Francisco has a few teams to beat before considering the playoffs. If they lose to Carolina, their playoff hopes take a big hit. The 49ers wont let that happen. DEN 35, SD 23: Denver is coming off their bye week, while San Diego failed to score a touchdown on 1st and 1 to be forced into overtime, and then a loss. TEX 31, ARZ 28: The Texans looked good last week, except for Randy Bullock. They have been close to a win with Case Keenum taking over as quarterback. This week they finally get one. DAL 24, NO 34: Dallas was close to losing to a team with one win. New Orleans also played badly last week, but the Saints have a better team in general. Expect a lot of Jimmy Graham in this matchup. Monday: MIA 20, TB 21: Tampa Bay finally came close to a win. They forced Seattle into overtime. This team is better than 0-16, and this may be their best chance for a win in the remaining part of the season.
