The Clovis Civic Center is looking for skilled, experienced individuals seeking a Part-time position as an Operations Attendant. Qualifications: -High school diploma or equivalent -Knowledge of facility event operations, including supervising part time staff, operations procedures and proper equipment -Ability to work days, nights, and weekends including holidays as necessary -Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and meet deadlines -Must have demonstrated ability to function in a fast paced, high-pressure environment -Basic computer knowledge -Possess superior interpersonal and communication skills -Must be familiar with operational equipment including but not limited to: buffer, rider sweeper/scrubber, walk behind scrubber, blowers, vacuums, forklifts, scissor lifts, scrubbers, and ice maintenance equipment -Ability to climb stairs and lift 40 lbs unaided Job Functions: -Assist with all aspects of the operations department to include but not limited to: event setup and tear-down, cleaning and routine maintenance -Demonstrate multiple leadership skills for a large and diverse workforce -Support Operations Supervisor in the following: training, motivations and evaluation of changeover and cleaning crew -Aiding Operations Supervisor with the orientation of all new changeover and cleaning crew members -Help with the supervision of the setup and changeover of events as well as facility cleaning -Ensure that all safety measures and training procedures are followed by all members of the changeover crew -Work in conjunction with facility maintenance staff when time permits -Climb stairs and lift 40 lbs unaided -Comprehend and communicate clear instructions for event set ups Perform other duties as assigned We are open 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.
