The Extreme Cost of Sacrifice! On this “Veterans Day” we should be proud of our young men and women, who are suffering and dying in other countries, for our welfare. Please...remember these soldiers, as they fulfill their duties and that if any wrong is being done, that Responsibility rests squarely on the shoulders of our Leaders! Deuteronomy 20:1-4 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the Lord thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. And it shall be, when ye are come nigh unto the battle, that the priest shall approach and speak unto the people, And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them; For the Lord your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you. Many times in the past, the people of this country have railed against the military, yet what they have done, was to disgrace the Soldier. The People of this country, erroneously vote in a person that is not of the Lord, thus we incure the hostility of this world and that of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! What most never see, is that it is the Soldier that suffers the most and even dies, in his/her service. And from experience, they have died alone. Thus my Question, “Where were YOU in all of this?!” Were you setting the Correct Example, for our children to live and grow in? Or were you simply going about your normal day, not caring that a Soldier was making the Ultimate Sacrifice for you and the rest of this Country?! Why is your heart so cold and uncaring in this manner? Why are you shutting the door on those Soldiers, that need your Support and your Prayers?! Is it too small a thing for you to take the needed time to speak with the Lord on their behalf? James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. I have been there, when a young person speaks their last words, cries their last tear and takes their last breath. I was scared and frightened, because there was never anyone around that would truly care, if I had been there or not. What was even worse, because I was not saved to Jesus Christ at the time, when I came home, nothing had changed, I was still alone and no one cared. Okay, that was my time...way back when! Today, I am saved to my Lord and Savior, it more important now, than any other time, for me to Pray for my younger Brothers and Sisters in the Military. Even more so, to help feed them and cloth them and give them the Joy of the Lord, because I believe what the Bible says. I am more convined than ever before, that my Younger Brother and Sisters in the Military need to have us, to lead them in the correct direction and to be with the Lord and counted worthy, in everything they must do. Thus, come the day, if they should step into Eternity, it will be into the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and Heaven, where one day we shall meet again at the feet of our Lord and Savior! Life is short and Eternity is forever and beyond, without end! Our Lord and Savior knows that war will continue, because the world is of satan and his ilk, they harbor more hatred for us humans, than you could ever imagine. It is because our Spirit was created in the image of God and they hate HIM more than they hate us. If satan and his ilk hate us so much, they are gleefully watching our Sons and Daughters die on the battlefield and for the unsaved, they gain another follower. Our time here on earth is short at best, yet...if we have the Lord in our lives, we have nothing to fear, not even death, because the Lord will come and walk us home. Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Looking around today, with everyone using the term “Its all about ME”, what faith do our Brothers and Sisters have in us, do you believe they are willing to go and die, for a people that care only for themselves?! If they go out and die...who is going to care?! Mom and Dad and maybe a few friends?! Where are your loyalties, shouldnt it ALWAYS...be with those, that fight and die to MAKE THE DIFFERENCE, for the rest of us?! Being humbled, by their sacrifice, should bring us to our Knees before a Loving and Righteous God! A God that holds their lives in the Palm of HIS hand! Thank you...thank you so very much...for the Sacrifice of your Lives...the Sacrifice of your Families!! Father...ABBA Father...Take my Blessings and give them to those that Sacrifice so much...for us!! In Jesus Name and for your Honor and Glory Father...AMEN!!
