The Heart of Great Completion by Kyapje Kunsang Deschen Lingpa Rinpoche The View of the Secret Mantra Great Completion necessarily entails warrior-like confidence, the complete lack of fear of anything whatsoever that characterizes a powerful hero. The meditation recognizes that all possible experiences of appearance and becoming, are simply magical displays of the natural mind itself. Apparent phenomena, latent experience and non existence are clearly established as non-dual luminous clarity /emptiness in and by naked awareness/emptiness. YeRe Sing Nge CheRe ! (Expressions of wonder and praise) What is intended is stable abiding in unwavering vajra-like meditative absorption, as distinguished from the activity called meditation and its object. Just as the sun, moon and light rays gather in space, the capacity to help beings, assisting them by means of wise and compassionate skillful techniques and disciplines, is associated with appropriate conduct. As for the fruition, having severed the taproot of hope for or fear of anything in cyclic existence and transcendence, one should firmly resolve to seek no other Buddha than this very natural mind itself. It is not necessary to examine many scriptural presentations of View, Meditation, conduct and fruition. as the deep-structure meaning of the intentional mind of all past enlightened beings Is contained in this epitome and set forth in a few brief sentences. Moreover, this is the heart essence of the practices of present enlightened beings and the teachings of the future enlightened beings will be derived from this very core. In fact, the 84,000 sets of Dharma teachings and practices in no way differ from the meaning of this teaching they just elaborate on it. In response to requests by American friends having faith in Dharma, Kunsang Dechen Lingpa cast forth this Dharma rant. May it increase the benefits of beings.
