The Hunger Games & Mocking Jay. Ahh...no words. Better than the book because...for me, I when I read that book, I was pretty invested in The Boy With The Bread and fated romance. I was sad the book destroyed the characters--the love--the romance all for a dialogue on war and oppression. How governments use people as pawns for politics and lies, all as a way to control people. It was not the story I wanted to read at the time. But possibly Ive grown up the last few years all thanks to knowing some amazing exchange students who live in worlds and societies that are not as free as ours. My perspectives have changed and theyve made that movie so well I think it will change yours. Im now not even upset that its broken in to two parts. Its amazing. Go see it.
