The Irish Greyhound Board, has said it is “deeply shocked and horrified” following the discovery of eleven dead greyhounds in a van, onboard an Irish ferry earlier this week. Really? Shocked and horrified?? Do they not realise these dogs are going to a place where, if they do make it alive, once their usefulness is over, are starved, hung from the neck, thrown down wells, have their limbs broken, put out on to the street to fend for themselves, to be hit by cars.. What exactly are the IGB shocked and horrified about.. ?? That the 11 greyhounds died before reaching Spain and we all got to hear about it?? They would rather let them land safely in Spain, wash their hands of it, and close their eyes to the fate of their racing greyhounds once they are sold on to their new Spanish owners.. SHAME ON THE IRISH RACING INDUSTRY.. corruption, money, greed.. your crocodile tears dont fool anyone..
