The Lord has been leading me to start a prayer page on facebook for a few weeks now. I debated and thought, Am I just trying to find positive ways to stay on social media and may it ok for me to be on here without feeling guilty? I received confirmation this morning during my Sunday school class and our church service. I also received confirmation a few days ago when I saw that 2,750 people saw my friend Donna K Seal Hovaters page. I was amazed because my first thought was 2,750 people have spiritually united and prayed for Donna and through prayer God has healed her. I heard an amazing story in class today about a little boy who was electrocuted yesterday and his mother posted NEED PRAYER NOW. Prayer warriors began and the little boy is going to be fine. Now I am a firm believer in the power of prayer and I see that as PRAYER ANSWERED! With all of this being said, be looking for a page coming soon that will strictly be a place to post prayer request specifically or just say unspoken prayer please. I would LOVE to read praise reports too. So please post those. Right now I have 819 fb friends just imagine how many prayers will be going up with my friend number and your friend number and a friend of your friend number. Facebook can be very positive and a way to reach so many people. We have access to it so why not use it for Gods grace and discipleship. NOW this doesnt mean that we forget our own personal prayer time because God does like our one on one time and I know that all of us will continue to maintain that personal relationship with Him. Give me a few days to get the page up and running and then I will post a share link. I plan on keeping a pad and pen near by so when I see a post I can write it down and add it to my prayer list.
