The New York Times today announces that the latest film of our beloved director Hayao Miyazaki and studio Ghibli- The Wind Rises will play in New York and Los Angeles for one week and still be eligible for the Academy Awards. Furthermore, that film will be the last film of Hayao Miyazaki as well according to his retirement press conference on September 6, 2013. Too far for me anyway even though I used to think that I could skip all the classes for it. Thank you, Mr. Hayao Miyazaki. From the first moment I saw Princess Mononoke, I knew I was experiencing something special. Everytime I feel I cannot do something, I remember Kiki or Chihiro. Little girls can do what they want to do, cannot I? Furthermore, live your dreams, such as round-trip ticket to New York, even it is so hard to be true. Thank you, Mr. Hayao Miyazaki for letting me live in such wonderful world with unlimited imagination. Beyond all, thank you for remaining me to be strong. youtube/watch?v=PhHoCnRg1Yw
