The Presence of the Hereafter in the Heart of a Pilgrim... Allah, the Most High, says: Then whoever hastens [his departure] in two days - there is no sin upon him; and whoever delays [until the third] - there is no sin upon him - for him who is conscious of Allah. Be conscious of Allah, and remember that you will be gathered to Him. [Surat al-Baqarah: 203] When Allah, the Most High, mentions the first and second departure (from Mina)--which is when people separate and disperse from the Hajj season back to their distant homes after gathering together in the sacred areas--He then says: ... and remember that you will be gathered to Him, which means that you will all be gathered together once again on the Day of Judgment.
