The Tenth C.A.C.T.U.S (Combined Adolescent Challenge Training Unit and Support) is about to come to its conclusion this weekend at Western Heights High School, following on from the very successful C.A.C.T.U.S projects run in Western Heights High School and Reporoa Colleges since 2011. This Saturday the 20th of September 2014 sees 25 students undertake their Longest Day, 8 hours of gruelling physical and mental challenges, at the end of which they will all graduate. The C.A.C.T.U.S course is an 8 week intensive physical training course that challenges behaviours through a very disciplined and regimented training regime, based along Military lines. At around 1:15pm on Saturday, be sure to be around the Fenton Street/Amahou Street intersection to see C.A.C.T.U.S students undertake one final task, (kept secret until the time) and once completed will see them graduate another gruelling CACTUS course.
