The U.S.- Mexican border is 1933 miles or 10,206,240 feet long. My solution is to hire 10,663 border agents. Place one every 100 feet along the border with a complete arsenal of technology. Hire these officers in addition the the National Guard and DHS already on the ground. Obama asked for almost $4billion to help with his latest crisis. $531,150,000 would pay all of the new employees a salary of $50,000 per year. A fair wage. Obamas short term plan will cost us around 7500 times more than mine. My plan would also help Obamas unemployment crisis. Long term the border patrol could be privatized for profit. Simple solutions to huge problems. Why are they overthinking all of this. Build a real fence and put a guard every 100ft. Done.
