The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected an appeal from Oklahoma - TopicsExpress

The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected an appeal from Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt regarding the Environmental Protection Agency’s plan for the state to reduce power plant emissions. Without comment, the justices declined to review the appeal from a decision by the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. That court ruled 2 to 1 last year that Oklahoma must abide by the EPA’s plan to reduce regional haze that affects federal parks and wilderness areas. The EPA plan would affect Oklahoma Gas and Electric Co. coal units at Red Rock and Muskogee. newsok/u.s.-supreme-court-rejects-oklahoma-appeal-on-epa-rule/article/4851334
