The behavior of the police in Ferguson Missouri is an absolute outrage. The shooting of Michael Brown is an outrage to start with but the over-reaction to peaceful protest -- rifles aimed at citizens, rubber bullets, tear gas, suppression of media coverage, suppression of the right to assemble...there is just nothing about this that is right, just, or American. I dont care if youre left or right on the political spectrum -- please notice that this is a Massive abrogation of constitutional rights -- we should all care, a lot about whats happening. These arent cops, their soldiers, and they have no place on our streets. Havent we gotten beyond this yet in America? Apparently not. Im appalled. Did we not learn anything from Kent State, from the race riots of the 60s? The police have only to look in the mirror to find the source of this unrest. Its not the citizens of Ferguson.
