The citizens of Montgomery County are fortunate to have dedicated civil service employees who work hard to see that their public safety, property services and court service needs are met. The job of the Montgomery County Board members is to assist the civil service employees and elected and appointed officials in meeting the financial demands of the county and determining policies and procedures that keep the county running smoothly. The most desirable trait for a county board member is the ability to comprehend the problems and challenges that the county faces and then build consensus among board members to effective positive change for the county. There are 21 county board members in Montgomery county, three from each district. My position is the only position open in District 2 in the November election.
