The devil knows the Bible; the devil quotes the Bible, remember that when he tempted our Saviour in the wilderness, he quoted the Bible with such finesse. Dont be deceived by that tactic. (Mathew 4:1-11) The Bible calls him a Tempter. He comes to tempt, but he has not the power to do anything to you. If you fall for his temptation, then you empower him. Resist him, and keep your eyes on Christ. The devil is a Deceiver. He has been in the business of deceiving since the days of Adam and Eve, in the garden of Eden. Be wary of him. The devil is a Confusionist. He rejoices when he knocks heads amongst friends and allies. While you fight each other, he goes to have a good laugh. Let us be wise my friends. The devil can feel it when you are about to touch greatness. He doubles his work rate when he sees your greatness within an arms reach. Trust in Christ that he cant touch your greatness, unless you yield to his temptation. Remember what Christ instructs to do to him when he comes with his temptation? Resist him, and he will flee. Resist him with superior knowledge of the word of God, lest he deceives you with misquotations of the holy Word. Remember that he wont submit to failur without a struggle. He will threaten, scream, shout, and cause you so much anger and disturbance.mwe have to keep focused on the Word of God. He has failed! He cannot survive the Holy anger of The Most High. He will be crushed! Helleluja!
