The following was posted my one of my friends and former fellow officers. A correctional officers job is very dangerous, you just probably didnt know it. Read this: Just found out my husband got a cup of a yellow liquid substance (urine not confirmed yet) thrown on him by an inmate. It went all over his face, in his eyes and all over his uniform. I dont know how my husband resists from beating the crap out of this inmate, maybe only bc he is behind a locked door and cameras are every where...i hope this inmate does not have hepatitis, although this is less worse than the inmate that had full blown hiv that spit blood in my husband face last year. Thank you baby for going to work everyday for our family, you put up with so much bs. I am proud of you for the way you handle it and keep pushing forward. I hope that inmate gets what is coming to him. Thanks to the rest of the COs out there too! Pray for us that the following doctor visits show no exposure to hep. THIS is the kind of people that watch over the scum that has been deemed unfit to be in society, even for a little while. These fine officers deserve your prayers and you support. I am proud of all of them!
