The group ride to Englehart to put up Gold Rush Tour signs was nice. Our trails were drifted in the fields. Club Echos were more recently groomed. Our trails were all groomed last night with the exception of the Quebec and Moose Lake trails. They will be done before the weekend. Since the trails are very firm and traffic is not too heavy grooming from now on will be on an as needed basis. Looks like snow and wind on Friday (same as every other weekend) so the fields may be rough north of town again on Saturday. Next week is March Break. Take a few days to ride with your family. The trails will be groomed again on Monday so they will be good for the week. The Tuesday ride next week will be an all day affair. We will be going up to Lady Evelyn Lake and exploring Sugar Lake and Lady Sydney Lake. If there is time we will also go to Franks Falls and do some riding on the Red Squirrel Road. No permit is required for this ride but you will likely need extra gas and bring lunch. We will be leaving Twin Lakes at 9:00 and picking people up along the way at Mowat Landing around 9:40.
