The heaviness of real life tends to be too much for the foundation of my own understanding. When my intellect is layered with the strength of Gods wisdom I find life a relief and the results so much more appealing. Does anyone out there ever feel like Gods wisdom is irrational? Are you like me and want to just double check the validity of His wisdom (sometimes on purpose)? There is a sense of false satisfaction initially, but ultimately the path that seemed right (or felt right at the time) did not bring a joyful result in the end. Kind of like that time I accepted the challenge to eat 12 blazing wings in under 6 mins. I got the shirt and my 15 mins of fame, but now the shirt doesnt fit and my stomach still hurts two years later. Its the same way when I think my own wisdom seems more rational than Gods wisdom.
