The infantry began to move upwards, pressing forward beyond the compound where the Militia held their ground. Dead titans, and fallen marines littered the battlefield. A few tanks were scorched here and there, and six jets were shot down from Insurrection acquired jets. Commander Garrison had called upon a UAV for support, and to little to no avail. He had to set it aside, couldnt risk a UAV being shot down now could they? Garrison, we cant risk UAV support now. What we can do, is send a two man team to scout the area up ahead. It would limit the casualties, and not put our fly boys in jeopardy of being shot down. Marshal Harris has spoken out, worried to hear the answer that he would not like one bit. But the suggestion from the Marshal had stuck within Garrisons mind, and he would look around his own tank to see who can be picked. But that did no good, considering all that was with him was only marines. And that would do absolutely no good. I know the two that can pull it off. Problem is, I dont know where the second one is stationed at. Find out where Soria Singo is stationed, and contact me when you find her. Garrison spoke out to Harris, and he gave a slight nod before rushing back behind the infantry line. Daniel caught word that Garrison wanted to pull a two man team for a scouting run, and he just smirked within his RX-II helmet. So Daniel would open a secure communications link, hoping Soria would actually be awake back in the city. Or where ever the hell shes at. Hey Soria, I know it has been a while since weve done a two man job before. But are you up for the task of heading out before the entire company moves up into a blind zone? He said in a deep country accent, looking down at a couple Militia standing outside the apartment complex he was held up in. He would then pull back the bolt on his sniper, and load a fresh magazine into the mag holder. Locking the bolt forward with one bullet in the chamber, Daniel activated his cloaking device and set out on foot. Back at the forward operations base, Jackson and Griffin, two of the last remaining head hunter of the Spartan II program were getting set for a hot drop behind enemy lines. Jackson, held in his hand a new sniper rifle that was shipped in this morning. He checked the scope, calibrating and setting it to dead center for easy use. Griffin on the other hand, held in both hands a new LMG that was shipped in this morning as well. Jackson turned to face Griffin, looking at the LMG he held. Are you sure youll be able to handle the kick from that? Griffin looked up at Jackson, nodding slightly before pulling back the receiver to load a round in the chamber. Im pretty sure I can handle a machine gun this size. Besides, were going to hit a militia supply depot while Oklahoma and his sister scout out ahead. Hopefully they will take care of the tanks heading to the depot. I didnt bring enough C-4 charges to take an entire armor division. Dont worry, Im packing flares just in case we cant blow them apart. The AC-230 would be able to handle the armor division. Jackson spoke out before pulling the receiver on his sniper, letting it slam home with a bullet in the chamber as well. Jackson turned to face the door, and it slid open. Griffin took point, and they both went off to the landing zone. There, an Oracle drop ship was sitting idly at the landing zone, waiting for the two Spartan to arrive. You boys ready for the mission? Better hope you have the ammunition for it. A feminine voice spoke out, and a shadowy figure was prompted up besides the hull of the drop ship. All black suit, except the visor. That was all white, and can possibly drop the enemies moral when given the chance in battle. The militia had spoken of soldiers with white visors and black armor, calling them Phantoms. Well theyre right, Colonel Tanya Agustin was one of the very few phantoms that were living. Come, mount up in the Oracle. We have a small window till the armor division meets up to the supply depot. Yes maam. Both spartans spoke out in unison, walking into the marine bay of the drop ship. Once inside, the hatch behind them closed with a loud hiss. Within the inside, a red light was all that lit up the entire bay. Along with six monitors that lets the marines and other units to view whats going on out side. Strap in, this is going to be one helluva ride. Tanya said over the ships comm link, and she then flipped the ignition switch. Both engines on the Oracle ignited to life, and gave off a dark green color. The ship took off, and both spartans strapped in
