The lack of intelligence constantly surrounding him never ceased to amaze. One would think, after so many years, the Asgardians would anticipate his trickery by now, but no. As it happened, they were just as dull as ever and it would take hours, if not days, for them to realize they had been deceived and that it was, indeed, merely an illusion of himself in that cell, and not the real man. No, Loki had no time to remain still, subdued. He had plans set in motion that were out of even his control now, and as he looked around Central Park at the faces milling by, he sneered. Humans. Mortals. Pathetic. He sneered and his piercing, icy eyes slowly dragged upward until they met the glowing name of Stark on the horizon. Of all his plans, of all the reward promised to his future, vengeance would be the most sweet.
