The latest with Kattie is her pain is out of control we had the pain clinic come in and talk with me and my mom and her we chose to let her eat something small if it didnt set well they would keep her on the pain pump if it went well they would start giving her pain meds by mouth which will last longer and let her rest. If she has break through pain they will give her meds through her iv. She got up and walked twice today when she got up her first time the chest tubes drained over 300 cc which is a good thing. After her 2 and walk she was in horrible pain so bad she was crying and screaming. All I could do was sit and cry. They got it under control some so me and my mom bathed her changed her gown I rubbed lotion on her legs and scratched them for her Im still with her now. Im going to leave at 8 so I can spend some time with my husband and girls. She needs to rest and if I stay she thinks she has to keep me company. Today was a bad day but she accomplished so much Im so proud of her. Hopefully tomorrow chest tubes will come out and she will be more comfortable. Ill update everyone tomorrow thanks for checking on her those who did.
