The liberal Seattle news media is trying to shape the narrative for the upcoming legislative session. Do their thoughts in anyway match the issues that are important to the people of Whatcom County? Of particular note is the after thought they give to using your tax dollars efficiently to build transportation infrastructure--have they not noticed massive cost overruns, the most expensive road construction costs in the nation, the 520 bridge fiasco, or that big tunnel machine stuck in Seattle? Are you more concerned about marijuana or the fact they Gov. Inslee is proposing billions of dollars of new taxes? What about a priority on getting the government out of the way or small businesses through tax and regulatory reform? How about giving parents more choices on how and where their kids are educated, not just spending more money. It is going to be a bumpy ride in 2015 as Pres.
