The love of the father (Sunday 21 December 2014) Who would offer himself to save a jail term in place of Oscar for murdering his girlfriend? Non whatsoever, some would want to see him hanging. It does not make human sense for one to die in the place of a guilty person, It is not often that someone will die on behalf of another person. Even if that other person always did right things, very few people would die on behalf of that person. Maybe someone might be brave enough to die on behalf of a person who is very good and kind. But the Messiah died on behalf of us while we were still sinful. In that way, Elohim has shown us how much He loves us. So now, because the Messiah died, YaHWeH accepts us as right with himself. And even more certainly, the Messiah will save us so that Elohim will not punish us for always.While we were still YaHWeHs enemies, YaHWeHs Son died. He died so that we could become YaHWeHs friends.
