The name Mussoorie is often attributed to a derivation of mansoor, a shrub which is indigenous to the area. The town is in fact often referred to as Mansoori by most Indians.The main promenade in Mussoorie is called, as in other hill stations, the Mall. In Mussoorie, the Mall stretches from Picture Palace at its eastern end to the Public Library at its western end. On the way to musoorie and its street food..... Street food in Mussoorie will offer you the opportunity to treat your palette with different flavours and relish each dish to its last bite. There is some irresistibly good local food in Mussoorie, the aroma of which will reach you from a mile. Before starting your walk on the Mall Road make sure you grab a hot, tangy Bhutta and a stick of Cotton Candy, to make it all the more worthwhile. Further here are some places listed where you can feast on street food in Mussoorie and ease the rumbling in your stomach. My sister who lived in U.S.A came to India and she is very fond of Indian street food, she enjoy the trip to musoorie. On roadside we saw one bhutta wala is there, so we stop our car and we enjoyed the weather and bhutta :) I share some personal pics of my family, thats why no nagetive comments allowed.
