The narrative being sold to the people now is that Dr. Luza was never due for an evaluation last April. Here is a copy of the email we sent to Roberto Garcia on July 11, 2014 inquiring about the evaluation. It took two subsequent emails before Garcia would answer. And three weeks later, he finally left us a voicemail, which you can listen to here: youtu.be/R9CIyAU2S_Y Dear Mr. Garcia: In your capacity as Board President of the SCESD Board of Trustees, please advise whether the Board fulfilled its obligation under Section 5(a) of the Employment Agreement between SCESD and Juvenal Luza; specifically, please advise whether the Board set a timeline for completion of an evaluation for the superintendents performance during the period of his employment occurring within the 2013-2014 school year, and whether such evaluation was in fact completed by April 2014 or any time thereafter. To be clear, I am not inquiring as to the content of the superintendents evaluation, which I understand is confidential.
