The past 8 months I made it my mission to try & learn more about the Bible, beliefs I was taught as a child growing up (in church & at home), mixed with conscious intelligent reasoning. What I found was most people who sit in church almost every Sunday, dont know much about the BIBLE. They simply repeat anything they are told....like robots.... Most dont know where ANYTHING is in the Bible. (Not saying they should know everything, but most knows NOTHING at All). Some things that are even very clear cut in the Bible, when you show them, they will still tell you, noooo. I say, but thats not what it says. They dispute it even though clear as day as if they have been so brainwashed they cant read with understanding. Smh. I found that most people of God got angry when you ask questions they dont have an answer to, or you show them the scripture ITSELF showing how wrong they are. They get angry instead of saying, I DONT KNOW. I think HUMANS are the ones who screwed up religion with cult behavior. You know, the do what I say. People use the term faith very loosely. Its not faith that some has (some do, most dont), its called brainwashed. They believe anything TOLD without reading and reasoning. For example, we believe the earth is round, the sun is unreachable, planets like mars, mercury, jupiter, exist etc. Because we have read it in books & heard it from teachers and professors in educational institutions. When youre being told the same thing for decades you will be forced to believe it even though you have never read or seen it yourself (nope not saying you need to see God to believe. I do believe there is a God. What I am saying is how easily humans are brainwashed). There is nothing like reading for yourself, reasoning intelligently and developing a direct bond with your creator. Prayer without hard work and dedication to what you want to achieve, or become spiritually and mentally wont help you. GOD ONLY HELPS THOSE WHO HELPS THEMSELVES.
