The rejection of a literal, fiery, burning hell and eternal damnation and torment of the damned is a damnable heresy. This doctrine is shunned, ignored and belittled as it does not fit well with the positive, motivational, humanistic trend of our day that downplays sin, downplays the holiness and wrath of God and distorts and twists Gods love. This doctrine is FOUNDATIONAL to a person BEING SAVED AND BEING DELIVERED FROM THE POWER OF SIN. This is damnable heresy as its denial leads to the damning of the souls of men. It has no support from the scripture. Eternal judgment is a foundational doctrine of the principles of Christ (Hebrews 6:1-2). The lack of preaching on hell has lead to very little fear of God (Matthew 10:28) which is necessary to the departing from sin (Proverbs 16:6), the hating of sin (Proverbs 8:13) and knowing God (Proverbs 1:7).
