The school that two of my children attend is suffering a great loss today. Two young girls and their mother lost their lives last night in a heartbreaking tragedy. My heart goes out to the Da Vinci family and community, and as a parent and board member I am grateful for the way that the school was so quick to attend to their students needs, sending in grief counselors so quickly. I love that Da Vinci is a small school with such a strong family atmosphere, and that all students know that they are part of a community. Please send your thoughts and prayers to the students, families, and faculty members that have been affected by this tragedy.
