The six steps, and our take: 1) Go for an overnight visit. Well be happy to meet you! One of the top things cited by our incoming students when asked what influenced their decision is their campus visit. Our campus, our friars, professors, and especially the quality of our students, make the case for coming to Franciscan. 2) Meet the priest. Absolutely. Meet as many of them as you can. We have more than 20 friars who live and work in various capacities on campus, from president, to student life, chapel, and professors in theology, biology, mathematics, etc., as well as not just a few sisters in similar capacities. 3) Sit in on a class. Sure thing. Maybe with Scott Hahn or one of our many Fulbright Scholars. The Light of Truth permeates and the pursuit of knowledge animates all classes, no matter the discipline. Theology, Chemistry, Drama, Nursing, English, Biology, Engineering, Business, Counseling, you name it. We have more than 40 majors and eight graduate programs, all built on the unparalleled Catholic intellectual tradition. 4) Look for a Core. Got it.
