The three paintings for Claire Clarks book launch 80 cakes from around the world , are finished, and Ive never had to paint so fast ! Each canvas is 1metre square, and Id normally spend a few weeks on each.... but all 3 have been painted in a week, so had to simplify them. Each depicts a slice of the main cake that will be on each table of colour themed small cakes: Fiji Rainbow cake for the blue/purple table, Japan Green Tea roll, for the green/white table, and American Angel Cake for the pinks/red table.
