The trial of the gravel bar pisser shooter is scheduled for next month in Steelville. As you recall, he shot and killed a man among a group of floaters he claimed stopped to piss on his property. I was in a store here today and heard a local man discussing the case with the owner. He said All I know is if someone is pointing a gun at me and tells me to get off his property Im not going to argue with him about it. I dont know if that view is representative of others in the area who will comprise the jury, but I have said before I think this is a defensible case in this venue.
